Healing summer wellness with essential oils

JoAnne Gaudioso

Essential oils are some of the best natural supplies to keep in your home. Besides being incredibly versatile and easy to use, these potent natural substances can improve health in so many different ways. From sleep and stress to skin and haircare, essential oils can positively impact almost every aspect of our wellbeing.

With the summer season blooming, now’s a great time to look at essential oils and learn about their amazing benefits. Did you know that you can use essential oils in your garden as a natural pesticide and weed killer (a natural replacement for Round-Up)? Essential oils can be used to get rid of spiders and ants and even as a deterrent to mosquitoes (a natural replacement for Raid or Off). And did you know that peppermint essential oil is a natural air conditioner? A little goes a long way with Peppermint, and you can create your own cooling mist spray.

We all know the dangers of staying out too long in the sun, but sometimes the feel-good rays get the best of us. No worries – essential oils can help you out. Lavender is great for soothing skin.

Staying hydrated is extra important in the summer. By simply adding lemon to your drinking water, you not only have a great flavor, but it also detoxifies your system.

These are only a few of the benefits of essential oils for summertime usage. If you are interested in learning more about these summertime uses of the oils, please join me for one of my workshops where you can discover the many uses and benefits of using essential oils. We will be making a summertime blend that you can take home. And this month, I am offering a special gift to anyone who attends and brings a friend along. Or if you are interested in doing a one-on-one workshop, we can do that, too. For those of you who have a few friends who may be interested in learning more about essential oils, you can host a workshop. This month, those who host four or more people will receive a special hostess gift of a diffuser. All you do is invite, and I do the rest.

My scheduled workshops this month are Saturday, June 1, at 11:00 a.m.; Saturday, June 15, at 11:00 a.m.; Saturday, June 22, at 11:00 a.m.; and Saturday, June 29, at 11:00 a.m. For more information, contact JoAnne Gaudioso by phone or text at 480-225-5224 or by email at [email protected].
