Tempe Brown will delight the audience with favorite oldies in “A Very Jazzy Christmas” mini concert. This former nightclub singer preformed jazz and blues in some of the most exclusive supper clubs in Oklahoma City. She later formed a show band and traveled extensively throughout the United States. This Oklahoma native was the art director for Century Publishing Company and later became editor of Key to Oklahoma City This Week magazine. She has interviewed dignitaries, entertainers, written columns and critiqued fine local restaurants. Tempe is a published author of two books along with recorded CDs. She travels year-round as a popular speaker for various organizations from her home in Greenville, South Carolina. Tempe will tell how she tried “putting the puzzle of life together without the ox lid” in a humorous, puzzling story with a happy ending.
Special Christmas music will be provided by the Keyboard Connection.
