Unity Church of Sun Lakes is a New Thought Spiritual Church dedicated to living the Truths taught by Jesus Christ as well as other spiritual masters. We believe in Love and Oneness, one with God and our brothers and sisters all over the world. We meet on Sunday morning at 9:30 a.m. at Sun Lakes Country Club, in the Arts and Crafts Room. Rev. Jeanne MacLaughlin is our minister. Come meet and greet. All are welcome!
Tucked away in a Unity booklet on Spiritual Tools and Practices is an article by Rev. Sandra Campbell which gives advice to those who wish to pursue their dreams. Our dreams are the desires of the heart placed there by the Divine. The following quote by William Arthur Ward is one that Rev. Campbell lives by: “If you can imagine it, you can achieve it; if you can dream it, you can become it.” Here are the steps to pursue your dreams: 1. Set your intention, 2. Begin with the end in mind, 3. Visualize exactly what you want, 4. Be specific, 5. Write it down, 6. Draw a picture, 7. Create a Vision board, 8. Take the steps necessary to achieve your goals. By using these steps, Rev. Campbell not only became an ordained Unity minister, but she had a successful career in government, earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees, and became a playwright and storyteller, and in doing so, she blessed the world with her dreams. Visioning is another Spiritual tool in your toolbox.
Announcement! Reiki Master, teacher, and longtime member of Unity Church of Sun Lakes left our earthly plane on Aug. 6, 2021. We send prayers for peace and comfort to her family and all her many friends. Lois Valleau was a powerful force for good in the community and world, and she will be missed.
