Unity: A Leap of Faith

Kay Davis

Unity Church of Sun Lakes is a community of souls who focus on peace, love, and healing. We follow the teachings of Jesus and other spiritual masters and use only affirmative prayer to align ourselves with the Truth that is in all of us. We are going to start back to having church services on June 7 with appropriate social distancing, masks given at the door, no hugging or touching, and hand-sanitizing wipes for our hands as needed.

We meet on Sunday in the Arts and Crafts Room at SLCC at 9:30 a.m. No coffee or cookies will be offered to observe social distancing. Until further notice, this will be how we manage COVID-19. It will be wonderful to see all of us together again.

Do we know and experience deep feelings of well-being? When we realize we are all made of the Stuff of all Life, by the Divine Creator of the world and everything in it, we will experience these feelings of well-being. Despite challenges, we handle whatever comes our way, and we are OK. We have always been OK and will never not be OK. God in us is a Power and Presence that lovingly supports us and creates through us what is healing and perfect. Looking back over a lifetime of experiences, those that we thought were devastating then became transformed in time into lessons that were seen as valuable, loving, and in perfect Divine Order. So, if you are ready to take that quantum leap of faith, affirm with Unity Co-founder Charles Fillmore when he was 94 years old, “I fairly sizzle with zeal and enthusiasm and spring forth with a mighty faith to do the things that ought to be done by me.” He knew that the transforming power of God worked in and through him, and I am sure that he experienced deep feelings of well-being.

Activities: Church services in the Arts and Crafts Room of SLCC starting June 7 at 9:30 a.m. observing social distancing and the use of masks.
