With magic of Christmas past, we turn to another new year. May it bring contentment, health and loving times with family and friends. We are aware, though, it could deliver sorrow, illness and death for perhaps many. A constant, however, is the love and presence of God, a promise we can count on. Of the many resolutions we intend to accomplish but quickly forget, one will bring benefits untold if we vow to draw closer to our Lord. Do you have faith enough to give your life completely to our Father Who will manage it much better than we?
Our church has received a blessing. Dr. Jim Bough is one of an array of competent, visiting ministers. Jim and his to-the-point messages and beautiful singing voice are indeed a gift from God. He is often ministering in faraway and often dangerous areas, teaching the men Leadership Development to be pastors to teach the Bible to the people.
Jim is affiliated with Global Training Network and comments, “We exist to train, equip and encourage indigenous Christian leadership all over the world. When leaders are equipped, souls are redeemed, children and women are esteemed and cared for and communities are transformed. Join us as we seek to change the world for the glory.”
