A big thank you, again, to all who donated to the SunBird Golf Club’s annual overseed fund. Golfers and nongolfers contributed a record-breaking $16,000 to help us “green up” the golf course for the 2020-21 season, which is a tremendous help in offsetting the $37,000 cost for seed alone. We thank and appreciate each and every one of the 178 individuals and organizations who donated to make a green course possible.
And thank you to Brendan Waddell and his team for all the work that goes into making a successful overseed season happen. The results speak for themselves! What a treat to be greeted by lush, green grass as we enter our community. It’s no secret that maintaining our golf course is costly. We very much appreciate your generosity in helping us defray costs.
