Peace, love, and flower power! With close to 1000 attendees, a great time was had by all at the Far Out Fest, which was held on April 6. Uncorked the Band did not disappoint, as they kept the “dance floor” packed the entire evening. Twelve hula-hoopers participated in the hula-hoop contest. It was quite the competition, with Colleen Norgard as the final winner. The costume contest was a big hit with about 50 participants. Led by Paula Warhoover, SunBird hippies paraded around the parking lots showing off their groovy outfits. Dale Ludwig and Mark Swanson were the two finalists, with Mark winning by audience applause. A huge thank you to all of our sponsors, the Arizona Rangers, countless volunteers, and staff for making this event possible. It was a huge success and such a blast!
