Thank you, NAIL

‘Tis the season to be thankful and “Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! is what we hear from new members of New Adventures in Learning. They have discovered how much they enjoy learning and how the classes have added to their sense of well-being.

New Adventures is a membership organization made up of volunteers who provide lifelong learning opportunities for seniors in Sun Lakes, Solera, SunBird and the surrounding communities. Since 1999 New Adventures has been offering classes in a wide range of subjects from history and science to art and gardening. Currently there are 89 different classes taught by volunteers who excel in their area of interest.

New Adventures is affiliated with Chandler Gilbert Community College and is located on the corner of Riggs Road and Alma School. It appears to be just a medical center but the community college is in the northwest corner. There is plenty of free parking close to the facility for easy access.

Currently there are over 500 members in New Adventures. To become a member of New Adventures there is a fee of $50 per year plus a $15 college registration fee for each semester you are enrolled in classes. Once enrolled you can sign up for as many classes as you would like to take.

Many of you are returning to Arizona this month and are ready for something new so why not explore New Adventures in Learning. Add New Adventures to your list of things to be thankful for. You can visit our facility at 25105 S. Alma School Road for more information. You can also call 480-857-5300 or look us up on the web at www.newadventures.info.
