Sunrise in SunBird

Jamie Morgan

As the sun peeked above the horizon, the golf carts gathered for a dazzling Easter Sunrise right here in SunBird. The gorgeous morning brought well over 100 people together to celebrate the mighty Resurrection of Jesus the Christ, our Lord and Savior. With beautiful music and a short message by Hank Miller, we celebrated the early morning discovery of the empty tomb.

Later in the morning, we welcomed one and all to a traditional Easter service in the ballroom. With over 200 in attendance (properly distanced and masked), we rang in another Blessed Easter. Another message by Hank Miller, along with more beautiful music, left us all leaving with a song of joy in our hearts and a strong ray of “Hope” in our souls.

As we turn the corner from April to May, we begin our “summer” months here at the Community Church of SunBird. Our dress becomes a little more casual, but our hearts remain full. We continue full steam ahead with our seven rotating pastors bringing us dynamic and powerful messages each Sunday. We invite all of you to join us any and every Sunday at 9 a.m., in the ballroom for an hour that will bless your heart and your soul.
