Well, the new season is almost upon us and the Pro Shop is getting ready for everyone coming back to play.
The Pro Shop will be open from 7:00 a.m.-noon on October 9 until October 16 for general business and call-ins for tee times and then open regular business hours starting October 17 when the course reopens for play. We will be cart path only until approximately November 1.
The new shop hours will be 7:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. daily. Golf times will be Monday through Saturday 8:00 a.m. shotgun start, noon tee times. Sunday will be tee times all day starting at 8:00 a.m.
We have a few tournaments coming in November for everybody to join in on. November 12 will be the Lions Club Tournament, a four-person Scramble; $45 per person. Sign-up sheets are available in the Pro Shop or see Fred Garmeson. On November 19 the CRAB Tournament will be playing. See if the Americans can hold on to their title this year. November 30 will be bringing us the SunBird Open; $45 per person, a four-person Scramble. This tournament generally fills up pretty quickly so get your teams in early. Sign-up sheets will be available on our website, in the Pro Shop or see Gary Metzger for a signup and if you would be interested in a hole sponsorship.
In the Pro Shop we will have a new line-up of Skecher’s golf shoes, new shirts and many accessories to fill up the golf bag (and maybe some early Christmas shopping). Remember, any Pro Shop chits earned prior to 2016 will be expiring December 31, 2016.
We would like to welcome back all of our friends who ran out on us during the “warm” season and hope to see many new friends stop by and visit.
