The SunBird Men’s Golf Club has kicked off the 2025-26 season. Every Thursday morning the tee times kick off at 9:30 a.m. The members of the Golf Club play various games throughout the year. The Men’s League offers some unique benefits for members:
1. Men’s League is the easiest way to get a membership with the Arizona Golf Association and a handicap index.
2. Your golf is organized for you. Just show up and play—no calling the clubhouse for tee times. Once signed up, you will receive an email from the organizers. Just click on the links, and you are signed up.
3. It is an opportunity to meet other golfers of the same abilities as you.
4. Free Men’s League ball marker
The entry fee is $6, which goes toward games, such as Closest to the Pin and Longest Putt.
The SunBird Men’s League will kick off the new year on New Year’s Day with a gross-net format. If you feel the need to golf on New Year’s Day, come on out and join us for golf and maybe a hair-of-the-dog Birdie Juice.
January events are as follows:
Jan. 1: Gross-Net
Jan. 6: Men’s Club meeting (free donuts and coffee)
Jan. 8: 1-2-3 Net
Jan. 15: First Round of Match Play
Jan. 22: Gross-Net (first qualifier for Net Couples Shoot-Out)
Jan. 26: Gross-Net (second qualifier for Net Couples Shoot-Out)
So, regardless of your ability or whether you walk or ride, come on out and join us for golf and maybe make some new friends.
