We, the SunBird Lions Club members, extend to everyone our wishes that you are all healthy and safe during this trying time.
Our plans to complete the season with all our activities, like all other organizations, ended with everyone in isolation. We were all looking forward to the Bernie and Red show, bingo, socials, and Feed Our Starving Children packaging. Hopefully, we will all get through this and enjoy the SunBird Lions activities once again.
Our new officers will begin meetings as soon as time allows. They will be planning for our 2020/2021 year of activities.

SunBird Lion Carol Zittle is the coordinator for our flag program. Flags are displayed on patriotic holidays. A donation of $40 will proudly display a flag at your home. The sight of the flag brings a feeling of joy, courage, pride, and freedom for all—the symbol of our nation in all its glory. Please contact SunBird Lion Carol Zittle at 480-883-0958 to show your patriotism at a time when we all feel the need to see those flags wave proudly.
Medical equipment is available, such as wheelchairs, crutches, walkers, canes, bedside commodes, and toilet seat risers. There is no charge for use of these items. SunBird Lions will also accept equipment donations. Pick-up is available by contacting SunBird Lion Gail Holland at 480-883-7310 to borrow or donate medical equipment.
