The final lunch of the season was enjoyed by a handful of our members who haven’t yet headed back to cooler climates. It was a lovely way to wrap up another memorable year together.
A heartfelt thank you goes to Joyce Gerber, who has served as our group’s historian for the past ten years. Joyce’s dedication to preserving the story of the Lady 18ers is truly unmatched. Her commitment has kept our story alive, and we are deeply grateful for all she has done. She is, without question, irreplaceable.
We’re excited to announce that the SunBird Lady 18ers now have a Facebook page. Throughout the summer, we’ll be sharing photos from past years—tournaments, friendships, and all those unforgettable moments on our beautiful course. All Lady 18ers are invited to follow the page and enjoy revisiting the memories.
For those spending the summer here in SunBird, a sign up sheet will be available in the Pro Shop lobby. We have the 6:30 a.m. and 6:38 a.m. Tuesday tee times reserved, so the first eight golfers to sign up each week will secure a spot. Don’t hesitate—add your name and keep the fun going all summer long.
