A-1 Golf Carts at the auction
Join us on Friday, Jan. 23, at 1 p.m. on the patio for the SunBird Golf Resort Auction. Auction premier corporate sponsors are Garrett Peterson and Blake Peterson of A-1 Golf Carts. Cousins Garrett and Blake Peterson, executives of this family-owned business, which is just a few blocks down the road, continue to support the SunBird Golf Resort Auction.
Up for auction are two golf carts from A-1. The carts will soon be available to view in SunBird. Both come with a bench seat for additional passengers, new batteries, and complete refurbishment by A-1.
Our SunBird auctioneer has many volunteers securing auction items of interest to all homeowners. Mary Stohr and Karen Hall are securing baked treats from our resident SunBird chefs. Watch for a surprise specialty item—a catered dinner, a martini party, or perhaps a golf caddy—for discerning bidders.
Collette Ellis-Toddington has obtained donations from local businesses for both the live and the silent auction. She will also accept donations from residents, such as new and used golf clubs, superfluous treasures, and gift baskets. Contact Collette at 604-791-0722.

The auction is preceded by the Chili Cookoff and followed by the popular Founders Cup Golf Tournament.
