Okay, all you Parisians: we will be gearing up for the first meeting of the fall on the first Tuesday of October at 6:00 p.m. in the Lakeview Room. This is a change from last year, so carefully mark your calendars. We shall continue to meet the first Tuesday on a monthly basis.
Remember, if you did not attend the April meeting when we collected dues, be sure to see Bob Sciaretta, the membership chair, and pony up your dues. That will be greatly appreciated! This first meeting will be to plan our calendar of events for the course of the 2017-2018 season. Especially important will be the plans for the Christmas party. There will be two videos shown during the course of our meetings.
I understand that the Ladies Summer Luncheon group had a great summer. Chris will update the club on their adventures. We are thinking of arranging one club luncheon, perhaps in January. Stay tuned!
If you know any new SunBird residents, invite them to one our meetings. We accept any SunBird resident who is interested in the Italian culture as a member.
Our phone callers will be contacting members about the particulars of each month’s meeting. Since we are returning to the Lakeview Room, please consider bringing some dessert-type snacks to the meetings. We will arrange for coffee at each meeting. This season, we will be delivering the SunBird News. Remember, this generates $963.00 for the club. We still need several more volunteers to deliver a route—help, please! See you all soon!
