It’s summertime in SunBird! Bring on the shorts and sandals! And even though our dress may be a little more casual, please join us on Sundays to hear a dynamic and powerful message at the Community Church of SunBird. We are blessed with six wonderful pastors who rotate Sundays throughout the summer. Each pastor has a unique background that brings a variety of exciting messages based on the Bible.
The Community Church of SunBird Summer Session begins May 1 and runs through October 31. We meet every Sunday at 9:00 a.m. in the ballroom. We are a non-denominational body of Believers.
Let me introduce our pastors:
Hank Miller, a SunBird resident, is a Bible teacher blessed with knowledge of Jewish culture that brings the Bible alive.
David Walker is a Chaplain for Hospice of the Valley. His compassion and joy are a blessing. He is available for those who are bereaved or want pastoral prayer.
Dr. Jim Baugh serves as the Ministry Partner Development Director for Global Training Network. He trains pastors, church planters and Christian leaders in 11 different countries as well as Native Americans in the USA.
Ryan Stephens is pursuing a PhD in Old Testament at Gateway Seminary. He teaches high school Bible at Phoenix Christian and adjunct at Phoenix Seminary.
Al Fadi is a former Wahabbi Muslim from Saudi Arabia and the founder of CIRA International (The Center for Islamic Research and Awareness). He is a missionary to those of the Islamic faith.
John Kaites, founder of Christ Foundation, LLC, has done missionary work in India. He is also a lawyer and a former member of the Arizona State Legislature.
We look forward to an exciting summer season at the Community Church of SunBird. See you there!
