Colorado get together
All Colorado present and former residents and houseguests are invited to a wine and cheese party on Thursday, January 28 at the home of Gary Hall and Joy Stoltz at 6361 South Sawgrass Drive. The party will be from 3:00-5:00 p.m.; BYOB and an appetizer to share.
This will be an opportunity to meet new friends and renew friendships. We will also discuss our Patio Party, which will be on Saturday, March 19 on the SunBird patio. We need your input to make this a success.

2016 Iowa party
The Iowa Party will be in the Ballroom on March 12. We have the Ballroom booked from 4:00-10:00 p.m. A free dance is planned from 7:00-10:00 p.m. with the Thaddeus Rose Band. It will be a celebration for many in the Iowa group who were born in 1936.
A planning meeting will be held on Wednesday, January 6 at 12:30 p.m. in the Puzzle Room. This is a preliminary meeting to set up times convenient for further planning. If you have questions call Paullene Caraher at 602-292-7858 or e-mail [email protected].
We can have a potluck in the back of the Ballroom and decide how we want the tables set up because the free dance will be for the whole community.
Michigan / Illinois – March 5
The second annual Michigan and Illinois combined state party is scheduled for Saturday, March 5 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. on the Clubhouse patio. Please mark this date on your calendar. A planning meeting is being held in January and more details will be published in the February SunBird newspaper. All SunBird residents from the great states of Illinois and Michigan are invited to participate in the planning for the combined party.

The Minnesota State Party will be held on Saturday, February 20, 2016 on the SunBird patio from 4:00-10:00 p.m.

North and South Dakota reunion set for March 13
Mark your calendars now for the Dakota Roundup on Sunday, March 13 from 4:00-6:30 p.m. on the SunBird patio! Bring your friends!
The potluck on the patio fun will begin with social hour at 4:00 p.m. (byob); potluck is at 4:30 p.m. Live music with Bob Bergman (of Fargo) and the Boys will again entertain us. Delicious Dakota home cooking is your admission, with water, dinnerware and hot barbecues provided.
Invited are SunBird residents who have lived in the Dakotas and their guests and Dakota friends. Bring an Ole and Lena joke and unwrapped door prize if you wish. Advance $4 tickets will be at the SunBird office in March and $5 at the picnic.
