SunBird Lions Bingo is back for another exciting season. As usual, our season runs through April on the first and third Friday of the month. Ticket sales begin at 5:30 p.m., and the first game begins at 6:30 p.m. There are 15 games nightly. We hope you will join us!

Friday Fun Bingo

Join us for this awesome activity! This is not your everyday Bingo! Bring your friends, come socialize, enjoy great music, and have fun! We’ll be playing five games for only $1 per game! You can play all five games or just one, play one card or as many as you’d like, the choice is yours! Friday Fun Bingo is for SunBird members and authorized guests only. Please be sure to bring your SunBird ID for entry. If you do not have an ID, please stop by the HOA office to get one. Due to the popularity of this fun event and in order to accommodate SunBird members, the number of guests SunBird members may bring is limited to two guests per household. SunBird members, along with their guests, must all be together when entering the ballroom. Additionally, the SunBird Maintenance Team has set up the ballroom for this event. Please do not take it upon yourself to set up any additional tables and chairs. Have fun, and good luck!

Smooth, soft rock from the 1970s and 1980s has a new name: Yacht Rock! And we’re sailing onto your stage to bring you their best music. This amazing, hit-filled concert features songs from Kenny Loggins, Michael McDonald, Hall & Oats, Christopher Cross, Ambrosia, The Doobie Brothers, Rupert Holmes, England Dan & John Ford Coley, and many more. Some of the finest musicians around have come together to produce and enjoy this guilty pleasure concert! Tickets are $20 per person. Full cash bar, pre-packaged snacks only. Safety and Self Defense Workshop
Tuesday, Jan. 30, 2024, Ballroom, 6 to 8 p.m.
Join us on Tuesday, Jan. 30, 2024, for a two-hour, no-cost workshop for SunBird residents, renters, and guests. The workshop includes the basic skills of self-protection: awareness, self-defense, prevention, and personal safety. Led by Tai Chi Master and head instructor Perry Rollings, this workshop will offer instruction in risk assessment, common perpetrator tactics, and an introduction to self-defense skills that can help in the most common situations. Wear loose, comfortable clothing. It is suggested, but not required, that you attend in pairs to practice learned techniques during the workshop. Note: while there will be multiple breaks throughout the workshop, there will also be many periods of standing and moving. The Spouse Whisperer takes the audience through a hilarious insight into relationships from first date to exploring all the ups and downs of marriage. Tickets are $20 per person.
