Join us on Wednesday and/or Thursday, March 2 and 3, for the SunBird Singers and Ringers annual Spring Concert. The evening will include a memorable celebration of spring through music and song. We hope to see you there!
SunBird Lions Bingo
Friday, March 4 and 18, Ballroom, 5:30 p.m.
Join us for SunBird Lions Bingo in the ballroom! As usual, our season runs from November through April on the first and third Friday. Ticket sales begin at 5:30 p.m., and the first game begins at 6:30 p.m. There are 15 games nightly. Prize money will double if a player gets a bingo on the designated number of calls on all games except the Jackpot game (the winner of the jackpot gets all the money anyway). All are welcome – open to the public!
4th Annual Chinese Auction
Saturday, March 5, Ballroom, 6 p.m.
In past years, this event has been a huge success, and this year will be even bigger and better. You’ll be sure to have a blast! Please join us on Saturday, March 5, at 6 p.m. in the ballroom. Bring your quarters (approx. $10 to $20) and get ready to have some fun! Each attendee will receive one numbered bidding sign. A bucket will be placed at the center of each table, and a gong will be placed on the stage. The items up for auction will be priced at 25 cents, 50 cents, or 75 cents. Each person who is interested in bidding on the item will be asked to place the requested amount into the bucket (25 cents, 50 cents, or 75 cents). The “auctioneer” will call out bidding sign numbers. The last number called when the gong sounds will be the winner! Sound confusing? You may just have to see it to believe it, but you’ll have a great time! We’ll have a wide variety of items up for auction. Each attendee is required to bring one new, unused item for auction ($15 minimum) as the entry fee. All proceeds from this event will go into the Social Budget for future activities. Full cash bar, pre-packaged snacks only. Doors open at 5:30 p.m.
SunBird Annual Meeting

The purpose of this meeting is to report to the membership the operations of 2021. All SunBird members are welcome to attend!

A night with Fame Trivia is an exciting evening full of fun questions, music, and audience participation, creating a competitive, fun-filled environment, making you want to come back and play again! Gather your friends (especially the smart ones) and come out for a fun night of Fame Trivia! No more than eight people per team; no pre-registration required. All brains welcome. St. Patrick’s Day Golf Cart Parade
Thursday, March 17, Waterview Drive, 3 p.m.
Join us on Thursday, March 17, on Waterview Drive for a St. Patrick’s Day Parade through SunBird. The parade will depart at approx. 3 p.m. Deck out your cart and wear your Irish/green attire to make this an even more festive occasion! Prizes will be awarded! For those who wish to enjoy the parade from your home, maps of the parade route will be posted on the website, sent via eblast, and available at the clubhouse. Hosted by the HOA & the SunBird Irish Club.
St. Patrick’s Day Dance Party

Join us on Saturday, March 19, as we welcome the Highway 85 Band to the SunBird stage for the very first time! The Highway 85 Band is a solid, six-piece, classic rock, country, and R&B variety dance band that brings out the energy in a crowd and pulls out all the stops with your favorite songs! They guarantee everyone will have a fun time! Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $12 per person in advance and $14 at the door. Full cash bar available, pre-packaged snacks only.

Join us in the ballroom for this awesome activity! This is not your everyday Bingo! Bring your friends, come socialize, enjoy great music, and have fun! We’ll be playing five games, only $1 per game! Algodones, Mexico OR Quechan Casino Bus Trip
Wednesday, March 30, bus will depart SunBird approx. 8:30 a.m.
Enjoy a trip south of the border to Algodones, Mexico, where you will have approx. 4-1/2 hours to spend the day as you wish. Take advantage of discount prescriptions and dental and eye care and have a delicious lunch, shopping, or just enjoy the festivities of this quaint Mexican town. For those who wish to spend the day at the Quechan Casino instead of Mexico, the bus will have a drop-off there as well. Passports required for attendees going to Mexico. Bus departs SunBird approx. 8:30 a.m., returning approx. 8 p.m. $40 includes bus transportation. Does not include driver gratuity.

This FREE community event will feature the Royal Islanders Polynesian Entertainers, including fire and hula dancers, live music featuring Outside the Line, beer gardens, food trucks, 50/50 raffles, and lots of fun!
