Today’s message is a reminder to the members of Sew-N-Sews that April 11 is the date of our annual luncheon. We usually have this in May; however, we’re hoping that more of the members will be able to attend before “flying off” to cooler climates. Sign-up for the luncheon was at the March meeting; however, you can still reserve your spot by calling Carol Q. at 480-883-6990. The deadline is April 4.
The luncheon will be at 1:00 p.m. in the Navajo Room of Sun Lakes Country Club. Come early and see the classes that are being offered to members. We will have a stash table, door awards and also our Show & Tell. We will have a short (a very short) meeting so we have time to enjoy the lunch and socialize.
The menu: The appetizers will be a veggie tray, fruit, cheese and crackers. The main course will be “build your own sliders,” which will have several meats, cheeses and all the accompaniments to build yourself a “Dagwood sandwich.” (Am I dating myself?) Add to that a dessert to complete our lunch.
