Returning residents/seasonal renters

Bonnie Marcus, Community Administrator

I would like to wish you all a happy return to SunBird; you were all missed.

The HOA office has remained busy with our existing year-round residents, the construction of the new room and patio at the clubhouse, the replacement of the elevator, new equipment and remodel of the exercise room, the road maintenance and repaving, the refinishing of the floors in the ballroom and the new irrigation system that is being put in. Also, additional garbage pads have been installed in the 1A section for additional cans, the stairways leading to the front patio were redone with new handrails and concrete, a cover was installed over the maintenance area and a new SunBird sign was put up at the corner of Riggs and Cooper Road.

I would like to remind everyone that when they return, to drop by the office and to say hello. We will update your file showing that you are back and change your mailing address for the HOA mailing.

If you are seasonal or a renter, we will need a copy of your new renter’s agreement and a copy of your driver’s license to provide you with a SunBird ID. By law, we do need to know who is occupying all homes at all times. If you need a blank renter’s agreement, you can find one on the SunBird website at sunbirdhoa.com; click on documents and scroll all the way to the bottom of the page. We can begin making seasonal cards now if you email or fax in your rental agreements, and we will have them ready for your renters when they arrive. Typically, in January, we are very busy checking in renters, and sometimes the line can get long. If we have the agreement ahead of time, it will save your renters from waiting in line.

Welcome back!
