Hello and welcome to SunBird Pro Shop! I am excited to meet you, so please stop in so I can meet you!
Our door is open, and our hours are 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., seven days a week. You may have noticed we have transitioned to tee times on Thursday and Sunday in addition to Friday. This is one of the ways we plan to replace lost revenue from fewer residents returning this fall. Tee times will attract more outside play to our course, more traffic in our Pro Shop, and more business in the Horizon Room. I look to all of you for your support as we grow our business and support you, our members.
Mike Tackett has volunteered to refresh our pro shop with a new coat of paint during overseeding.
New merchandise, including men’s and women’s clothing and an array of accessories and gifts, will be arriving and available at the end of October. Pickleball merchandise, including paddles, bags, gloves, safety glasses, and socks, will be available as well. Stop in for the unveiling!
My vision for the pro shop is a one-stop shop for golf, pickleball, and other resort merchandise. My vision for the golf club is for others to find what you already know—we are a “diamond in the rough in the East Valley.” My hope is that we can partner and collaborate to move this club forward.
