Democrats, Republicans, what’s the difference?
They both promise our country deliverance.
We need a change, they say at election,
Only one party can bring on perfection.
Each other’s throat, they try to throttle,
But each night they drink from the same bottle.
It’s just a game they play for show,
While out of the coffers our tax money flows.
No matter who is president or to what party they are appealing,
They keep spending our money and raise the debt ceiling.
On our money it reads “In God We Trust,”
So God help us when in time we go bust.
