The Pickleball Club is abuzz with excitement as they welcome new members Darryl Joyce and Lynne and Jim Jamison to their vibrant community. As the winter season recently came to a close, the club celebrated with a fantastic year-end event on March 9. The highlight of the day was a thrilling round robin tournament followed by a scrumptious taco bar lunch served on the clubhouse patio and catered by the Horizon Room.
The event saw an impressive turnout, with over 60 enthusiastic participants joining in the fun. Congratulations are in order for the big winners of the round robin: Mike Earl, Dale Stein, Ed Hennek, Vickie Earl, and Eileen Sievers, who showcased their skills and sportsmanship.
With the arrival of April 1, the Pickleball Club eagerly kicked off its spring season. For April, club play is now scheduled from Monday through Friday from 8 to 10 a.m., with additional sessions on Wednesday and Saturday evenings from 6 to 9 p.m. As the weather warms up, members can anticipate time adjustments in the schedule, so it’s essential to stay updated.
