For those of us who are fortunate enough to live in the SunBird Golf Resort Community, life is good! As with all successful communities like SunBird, there are Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions (CC&R’s) that help our property values escalate, as well as keeping our community a desirable place to live.
According to the Architectural Control Committee (ACC) guidelines, an approved permit is required before any dwelling, building, fence, wall, exterior landscaping or replacement of comparable rock (except landscaping not visible from neighboring property), awning, sunshade or other improvements (attached to or detached from other structures) shall be erected, placed, altered or maintained on any lot.
With these guidelines in mind, homeowners must also touch base with the City of Chandler for their zoning codes/permit guidelines on buildings and structures in residential districts.
