Patrol Report

Chief Catri

Recreational Vehicles: Upon arrival at SunBird with your RV, we ask that you please call the Patrol within one hour of entering the community with your recreational vehicle. The Patrol will then respond ASAP to your location to issue you an RV parking permit. Use of the RV while parked in the community: Residents or their guests may not live in the RV while parked in SunBird. This means allowed activities do not include sleeping, cooking, or any other activities not associated with preparation of the RV for travel or storage.

Community Safety: The truth is, crime can make its way to any neighborhood, no matter how safe it is. In times of economic distress and even during a public health pandemic, people are even more concerned about rising crime in their communities. On the bright side, there are always plenty of preventative measures one can take to protect themselves, his/her home, as well as the neighborhood. Your garage door is your first line of defense against any possible intruders. That is why it is so important to close your garage door when it is unattended. This is especially true overnight or when you are away. The whole purpose of locking doors and windows is to protect not only yourself, but also the valuables in your home. Even though no place is immune to crime, teamwork with neighbors can really make a difference to minimize it and to help keep your community clean and orderly. Work together to prevent crime so that we never let the bad guy win.

The use of the swimming pools and jacuzzi is limited to homeowners, tenants, and their guests. Owners and tenants must have a valid HOA identification card. Guests must have a valid guest card. The Patrol works hard to ensure the safety of all our residents and guests. If asked to show identification to the Patrol, please be proud of where you live and are visiting and show the card with pride.

Use of Our Common Areas: Pedestrians and bicyclists are urged to exercise proper caution when using the streets in and around SunBird. Pedestrians and bicycle access gates are provided at every entry and exit location and should be used to avoid the vehicle traffic lanes and the automated gate operators.

Please continue to be safe and healthy and enjoy your entire summer, no matter where you go or what you do.
