The SunBird Lions Club will be collecting items for Packages from Home during the month of November. Donations can be placed in the collection box in the copy room area of the lobby.
Packages from Home is a non-profit group that collects donations to be sent to our troops around the world. The items are collected, sorted and packaged for either male or female (yes we have both) service personnel.
Partial Wish List:
Crew socks, ladies cotton underwear, men’s cotton tee shirts (L-XL), boxer shorts (L-XL).
Personal hygiene products, women’s personal hygiene products, toiletries, sun screen.
Hand held electronic games, puzzles, paperback books, playing cards, blank greeting cards.
Cookies (in metal container), crackers, canned nuts, candy (no chocolate), breakfast bars, coffee, tea, gum, soups.
Items that are not acceptable: Tobacco products, pork products, aerosol cans.
