Tuesday, October 2, at 10:30 a.m.: Citizen Science at Your Library: Virtual Presentation*

This is a virtual live presentation with a question and answer session to follow. Valley public libraries will soon be loaning out kits to allow library customers to check out instructions and equipment for participation in science research being done locally and nationally. Darlene Cavalier, Arizona State University’s Center for Engagement and Training and founder of SciStarter, will discuss how citizens can contribute to scientific research.

Monday, October 15, at 1:00 p.m.: AARP Presents Finances for 50+*

Are you over 50? Learn the basics of financial awareness and get tips on budgeting, managing credit and debt, saving and protecting assets. This is not an investment seminar.

Tuesday, October 16, at 1:00 p.m.: Legends of Song with T.A. Burrows*

Take a trip down memory lane as award-winning entertainer and impressionist T.A. Burrows pays tribute to nine legendary American singers who include the Rat Pack, Elvis, Ray Charles and more!

Monday, October 29, at 1:00 p.m.: It’s a Mystery to Me: Storytime for Grownups*

Do you love to know “whodunit”? Join us for this grownup storytime, featuring a mystery short story or two. Feel free to bring a lunch or snack and enjoy being read to!

This session will cover getting connected to the Internet, navigating websites and browsing the web. Limit 10 people. Registration required.
