News from the Pro Shop

Gary Hodges
It’s getting toward the end of summer, but there are still a lot of hot days left. While golfing, please keep an eye out for your fellow golfers and make sure a medical situation does not arise.
The pro shop will be getting a new facelift by the HOA, adding new carpet throughout the building. A picture of our new look is in our pro shop window.
As of Aug. 5, our green-up fund has hit $10,370.00. We would like to thank all who have contributed to the fund. Every little bit helps in a time when funds are extremely tight.
Our overseed schedule has been established, and we will close on Oct. 14, and if all goes well, we will reopen Nov. 1. As we enter this timeframe, I ask all who head up groups to contact me and let me know your days and times so we may get them on the calendar.
Just advance notice, the Men’s Niner Group, which play on Wednesday afternoon, is being moved to Thursday afternoon. There will now be an afternoon shotgun on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. This will allow for more times available for golfers.
It has been brought to my attention that if you need to talk to or complain to a board member, there is a place and time for this to happen. It’s not while the board member is playing golf or having a meal with his family or while the member is at church. Please have a little respect. Leave a note at the pro shop that you have concerns, and the board member can get back to you at an appropriate time. The board members thank you.
