We are looking for volunteers for the golf course for the position of Ranger-Starter. Please stop in the Golf Shop or call 480-883-0820.
Position Concept: Creates a positive experience while monitoring pace of play. Facilitates on-course tournament logistics. Upholds positive golf etiquette and prevents behavior that is detrimental to the golf course and its customers.
Essential Duties:
* Offer a warm and friendly atmosphere
* Assist golfers with their pace of play
* Ensure golfers start on time
* Help facilitate tournament starts and contest holes
* Make sure you have an up-to-date tee sheet daily
* Keep pace of play moving
* Make sure the radio is turned on and working daily
* Communicate any on-course problems with Pro Shop
* Pick up any trash you see around the property
* Enforce club rules regarding course etiquette (filling divots, raking bunker, fixing pitch marks)
* Performs other duties as directed by supervisor
