Lions Fred Garmeson, Ray Clark, Carol Zittel, Arlene Block, Eileen Sazama, Paula Warhoover, and our to-be Lion Addisyn Sazama, representing SunBird Lions Club as part of the Lions International Service Week, donated 293 reading and activity books to the Hartford Sylvia Encinas Elementary School for children in grades K-2. There was one book for every child to have as their own. The books were obtained from Kids Need to Read.
