Yes, it’s happened again after all these years; July is a blur, and August is moving too fast. Planning dances for three levels does take time, but I still enjoy looking at new dances, trying new music and hoping to make things “new” for all dancers this next season. Monday, September 3 (yes, Labor Day) will start my 19th year of teaching Line Dancing. The body may not be so willing, but my mind and heart are excited about our new year.
If you would like to join our group of really nice people and “LEARN” to Line Dance, you need to call me at 480-802-0201 after 10:00 a.m. to register for the Ultra Basic Class at 11:30 a.m. in the SunBird Ballroom for $2. The arrival time for your very first class is 11:00 a.m. After that, you need to come at 11:15 a.m. to get checked in. If we are in the middle of a dance, you may be in class longer than one hour. Passing times will be in our schedule for the next two levels, as we have the floor until 3:00 p.m. This schedule allows each level to get in their hour of instructions and dancing.
If you cannot register for our first time back, registrations for new dancers will be taken until the end of September. After that, registrations will be for our restart in January 2019. Exceptions would be for any line dancers with previous experience, but you need to register according to the information above.
Come join us to “Escape this Crazy World” and get some exercise while having fun! God bless line dancing!
