The much-anticipated opening round of the season for the Lady 18ers took place in November, drawing both seasoned players and enthusiastic newcomers to the course. Under clear skies and cool weather, the ladies gathered early in the morning, ready to embrace the challenges and camaraderie that the new season promises.
This year’s opening round was a team game known as a Cha Cha Cha. The fairways buzzed with friendly banter as golfers navigated the greens, showcased their skills, and reconnected with fellow members after the off-season. The Horizon Room provided a delicious lunch on the patio after golf where the SunBird Ladies Golf Association board and committee members expressed excitement about the season ahead, highlighting upcoming tournaments, themed events, and opportunities for all skill levels to participate and improve.
The Lady 18ers look forward to a memorable season filled with great golf, lasting friendships, and a vibrant club spirit.
