If you like to golf, want to meet a great group of ladies, learn the rules and etiquette of golf, and play a variety of golf games, then consider joining our Lady 18ers. We welcome all lady golfers of various skills to join our league.
The SunBird Ladies League 18ers will be starting another season on Nov. 1, and we are always looking forward to our returning members and welcoming new members. We are a fun group of ladies who enjoy golfing and meeting new people. We play weekly on Tuesday mornings and play a variety of games, enabling participants to play with different individuals. All new members are assigned a “buddy” to introduce and help them understand some of our practices.
While the 18ers play year round, many members return to their summer homes, so we are not as organized over the summer. In the winter season, between November and April, we have a monthly meeting with lunch and encourage all members to attend.
Our first organized game of play will be a shotgun at 8:30 a.m. on Nov. 1, followed by our first luncheon for the season and meeting. On Nov. 29 the SunBird Lady 9ers are hosting us for a game of golf and a luncheon on the patio. The season is starting out with a couple of fun events—come out and join us!
