Rich Volpe, Chapter Commander

Our chapter commander would like to extend his thanks and appreciation for all the support you all provided to our organization over the past year, and we’re looking forward to a fresh new start as we enter into the new year. After coming off a challenging year, things are getting back to normal, and our meeting schedule has been firmed up. Meetings will be resuming from September through April, a slight change from previous years. The times will remain the same, with meetings starting at 11 a.m. on the fourth Wednesday of the month.

The next scheduled meeting is Jan. 25 at 11 a.m. Meetings are scheduled for the Pima Room, which is on the upper level of the SunBird Community Center. Annual dues for club members are $15 and are due at the January meeting. Typically, when possible, a significant part of our agenda is the participation of a guest speaker. One is in the planning stage for the January meeting, but the final details are not available at present.

Being a service organization, we are well aware that we all are vulnerable to the unexpected, and accidents do happen. One of the club’s main goals is to be able to provide help and support in the best manner possible when needed. Our doors are always open, and help is only a phone call away. Our club maintains a significant amount of medical supplies available from our storage facility, which is always available to those in need. Feel free to call the chapter commander regarding additional details on what we currently have in inventory or any other questions you may have regarding club membership. He can be reached at 480-802-2532 and would be happy to talk to you.
