Rich Volpe, Chapter Commander

Our Chapter Commander would like to extend his thanks and appreciation for all the continued support you all provided to our organization over the past year, and we’re looking forward to new adventures as we move on into the new year. After coming off a challenging year, things are getting back to normal, and our meeting scheduling has been firmed up. Meetings will be held from October through April, a slight change from previous years. The times will remain the same, with meetings starting at 11 a.m. on the fourth Wednesday of the month.

The next scheduled meeting is set for March 22 at 11 a.m. Meetings are scheduled for the Pima Room, which is on the upper level of the SunBird Community Center. Annual dues for club members are $15, and if not paid, they are already past due. Typically, when possible, a significant part of our agenda is the participation of a guest speaker. If the speaker is known in advance or becomes available later than this publication, that information will be passed on to the active membership in a timely manner. For the early attendees of the meetings, coffee, water, and pastries now will be made available by the club’s staff.

Being a service organization, we are well aware that we all are vulnerable to the unexpected, and accidents do happen. One of the club’s primary goals is to be able to provide support in the best manner possible when needed. Our doors are always open, and help is only a phone call away. Our club maintains a significant amount of medical supplies that is available from our storage facilities, which are always available to those in need. Feel free to call the Chapter Commander regarding additional details on what we currently have in inventory or for any other question you may have regarding club membership. He can be reached at 480-802-2532, and he would be happy to talk to you.
