The R Countryman Chapter of the Korean War/Korea Service Veterans will not have their normal meeting in December but will be having a luncheon on December 11 from 11:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. to celebrate the season and conduct the election of officers. Please call Jay Sanderson at 480-895-2950 if you are a current member and have not yet RSVP’d. We would love to see you there! (There is a $10 fee per person and spouses are welcome).
A big thank you to our guest speakers in October and November, Stephanie Lynn and Stephen Gardner, both with Hospice of Arizona. They provided valuable information regarding hospice services and provided all of our veterans with a pin as a token of appreciation for their service.
Terry Araman, Director of the Madison Street Veterans Association, informed us of the MANA House and the amazing services it provides to veterans currently or at-risk of experiencing homelessness. Thank you for helping look out for our veterans!
All veterans and their guests are welcome. You can learn more about us on our website at www.kwvacc.org or contact Commander Jay Sanderson at 480-895-2950.
The R Countryman Chapter of the Korean War/Korea War Service VA was proud to be a part of the third annual Neighbors Who Care event held in October.
