Are you new to SunBird? Would you like to meet some new people who live in SunBird? Do you like helping your neighbor? Then Kare Bears needs you!
Kare Bears has been around since 1992, and we have lots of fun, and we reach out to people in SunBird and in the Chandler area to provide assistance and money to help sustain their efforts.
Kare Bears has a number of activities that provide entertainment for SunBird residents and people in the area. For instance, we sponsor concerts and a fashion show that draws a large crowd during the winter months. Four Saturdays during the year we have a fair for vendors to sell their wares, such as jewelry, candles, purses, wood carvings, books, and your special made items. And we have a white elephant table that offers lots of items at a very low price. In addition, you can always get a cup of coffee and a donut and visit with your neighbors. And don’t forget about the door prizes!
For SunBird residents, we will sponsor a Celebration of Life for your family and friends if needed, and when one of our residents has to spend time in the hospital, we welcome them home with a meal.
Through all these activities, we generate a lot of money, and we give it all away to local charities, such as Neighbors Who Care, St. Vincent de Paul, Hospice of the Valley, and the American Service Animal Association, to name a few. Don’t you want to be a part of such a giving and vibrant organization?
