On Dec. 7 Kare Bears celebrated their Holiday Luncheon in the ballroom, catered by the Horizon Room. We had fun playing some holiday trivia games that Paula planned, and we exchanged gifts. Fun was had by all.
We have a number of events for the coming months. We have our regular meeting each month on the second Wednesday at 11:30 a.m. Another Kare Bear Fair will be taking place on the first Saturday of February, offering the White Elephant table, coffee and donuts, and the cash drawings. Besides our own gifts, some of the vendors contribute an item for the drawing, too. So, come out and enjoy the company of your neighbors.
Save the dates for these two big events: The Second Hand Rose Style Show is on Feb. 2, and the Eagles Concert is on Feb. 20. Tickets for both events go on sale Jan. 8 from 9 to 11 a.m. in the lobby. The Eagles Concert is $20, and the Style Show is $10. Again, you are asked to bring a small dish to share with the people at your table for the Style Show. Remember last year? We ran out of space on the tables.
