Spirit of the Desert Gourd Patch is a local organization, affiliated with the Arizona Gourd Society and the American Gourd Society, and meets in Sun Lakes, October through May. Meetings are held at the Arts and Crafts Room at Sun Lakes Country Club (25601 Sun Lakes Blvd.) the third Thursday of the month at 4:00 p.m. Meetings include “Show and Share” of member projects, a business meeting, snacks and learning activities.
Spirit of the Desert Gourd Patch was established to share our love of gourds and gourd art with others who feel the same. We teach and continue to learn how to work safely with gourds while having fun. Spirit of the Desert is open to anyone living in the Valley. We’d love to have you join us!
Beginners are welcome!
