Galen S. Schroeder
Galen passed away peacefully on July 1, 2015 in the Lund Hospice Home in Gilbert, AZ. He had been ill a long time. He was born on April 16, 1929 in McPherson, KS. Galen was 86 years of age.
In 1949, he married LaWanda Schmidt. They lived in Chandler, AZ in their SunBird home for 20 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and two sons. He is survived by LaWanda, one son of Cave Creek, AZ, one sister and her husband of Hilo, HI, a sister-in-law of Kansas, two daughters-in-law of Kansas, four grandchildren and spouses, 15 great-grandchildren, and many relatives and friends.
