Holiday Decorative Outdoor Lighting Guideline

Bonnie, community administrator

Driving through the community during the holiday season is so magical. Many of our homeowners really did a fabulous job of decorating for the holiday season. There were so many displays and lights on many of the homes for everyone to enjoy.

Did you know that according to the Architectural Control Committee (ACC) guidelines state that you can leave your holiday lights up for 30 days after the holiday? According to the ACC guidelines, “All holiday decorative outdoor lighting requires no ACC permit but may not be illuminated (turned on) earlier than 30 days prior to and turned off no later than 30 days after the holiday date. Clear, white, miniature, non-flashing lights are permitted on trees/bushes throughout the year.”

The HOA has copies of the current ACC guidelines, which do change periodically. Stop by and pick up the current guidelines if you are planning on doing anything outside on your property.

All decorations should be down by Jan. 24.

Happy New Year! Have a healthy and prosperous new year.
