The Healthy Lifestyle Forum is a free educational Zoom event which will be held on Thursday, June 18, from 1:30 to 3 p.m. This online presentation is limited to the first 100 people who register. Your registration will be confirmed by email, and the Zoom meeting link will be provided at that time. Brew some tea and join us from the safety and comfort of your own home!
This forum is for you if you are a person who is looking to stay strong in challenging, stressful times and to live as comfortably and free of chronic disease as possible. According to Cigna.com, 84% of people are currently experiencing stress! The forum’s goal is to increase your awareness of the inside/out connection and the importance of what we choose to put on and in our bodies for healthy minds, stronger bodies, and more beautiful skin. You will learn how mindfulness and community resources can lead to less stress, less pain, better sleep, more comfort, better performance, and even richer relationships. Our epigenetic or lifestyle choices determine 90% of the results we achieve: how fast and how well we age! For example, did you know that one in nine Americans have kidney disease, and 90% don’t know it? Public awareness of this reversible—if caught in time—disease is needed!
This program is designed to address some of the newest concerns and challenges of our changing times, from receiving telehealth and in-home medical services paid by Medicare to enhancing our immune health and managing chronic disease at home. These are some of the issues that will be covered by our panel of four professionals. During the forum, each of the four panelists will present a 15-minute segment of healthy lifestyle information and valuable recommendations from their area of expertise, followed by a question and answer session with moderator Jacque Zoccoli. In addition, the forum panel will include a drawing for free gifts!
The four panelists include Nancy Drew’s “Medicare Insurance and the COVID-19 Challenge,” Analyn Scott’s “The 1 in 9 Kidney Challenge,” Carolyn McCorkle’s “De-Stressing from the Inside-Out: Environmental Toxins, Mindfulness and Your Immune System Connection,” and Janice Taylor’s (RN at AdvisaCare of Phoenix) “In-home Professional Care and Assistance Options.”
What our bodies consume inside and out is either a fuel or a poison and can be intentionally adjusted to help us look and feel our best. Small changes made daily can reap big rewards! Smarter choices add up over time, and this panel is designed to show you how to create an environment that reduces stress and helps you flourish and thrive, inside and out! When medical care is required, in-home care frequently is the safest option.
Reservations are requested by June 15 to send your Zoom meeting link. Please reserve your place by emailing [email protected] or by calling Jacque at 480-708-1557.
