The SunBird Lions Club has a container in the SunBird facility for people in need of food and pet supplies. If you have extra food or pet foods and are leaving on vacation or wanting to share canned, packaged foods, please drop them off in the SunBird room by the copy machine. Please be sure there is no outdated or opened or perishable food left in the container. The foods are brought to a food pantry, AZCEND, to help those in our Chandler community.
The SunBird Lions Club also has receptacles for soda/pop cans throughout SunBird Golf Resort. Please do not leave water bottles—only soda/pop cans. Please do not remove cans from these receptacles, as the money received from the weight of these cans helps those in need.
We appreciate your support as we help those who are less fortunate.
