The German Club met in September to plan for the Oktoberfest Party, which was held on Oct. 26 in the Lakeview Room. The Italian Club was invited to attend, too, as long as they brought potluck dishes. The club provided brats and buns.
The club met with the Horizon Room manager Julie and secured a Christmas Party Luncheon date for Dec. 12 from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Lakeview Room. The luncheon will consist of chicken schnitzel, German potato salad, green beans, and salad. Dessert will be supplied by the club. The charge will be $10 per person. The actual cost is $18. The $8 difference will be picked up by the club.
For the November meeting, the club plans to have a luncheon outside of the community.
