Seven gracious homeowners opened their homes for our viewing pleasure this year. Ticket holders toured thoughtfully renovated and beautifully decorated homes and enjoyed delicious refreshments, charmingly presented on the patio at Mary and Scott Stohr’s home. Over 300 tickets were sold for the 2023 annual Home Tour. Monies raised from ticket sales are used to help fund projects within SunBird to beautify and maintain several outdoor areas within our community. We wish to thank all our homeowners who shared their homes with us and everyone who purchased tickets and attended. We hope you enjoyed the tour as much as we did!
The SunBird Garden Club met Friday prior to the home tours. We had 43 members in attendance and welcomed two guests. At our meeting, Laurie Doyle spoke about her newly accepted position as our project coordinator in conjunction with the HOA and the golf course. The Garden Club helps maintain 15 areas within our community.
Our next meeting will be in the ballroom on Friday, April 14, at 9 a.m. and will feature a presentation by Barb Ott. Barb and her sister Pat McGonegle will be speaking about the Garden Club’s history, which was informally organized in 1998. We welcome all members and guests!
