Community Church of SunBird—Christmas Eve Celebration

Jamie Morgan

Christmas is in the air. The excitement is here—bells ringing, lights glowing, tree decorating, present wrapping, travel planning, and the smell of holiday baking filling the air.

The most exciting part of Christmas is the celebration of our Savior’s birth. On that cold, clear night, over 2000 years ago, a precious little boy was born from the very bosom of God to save our human race. “An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them… Suddenly, a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying, ‘Glory to God in the highest heaven, and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests’.” (Luke 2:9, 13-14). He was fully man and fully God. What a wonder! What a miracle! God, in the flesh, here to walk among us upon the Earth. To be our Messiah. To tell us the way to the Father. To show us how to live and love one another. What a glorious and blessed Christmas morn.

We invite all of you to join us for our Christmas Eve Celebration. Our very own Celebration Singers, Celebration Ringers, featured soloists, and harpist Susan Popelka will bring us into Heavenly Worship. Hank Miller will deliver a short message entitled, “No room, no room at the Inn.” The doors to our ballroom open at 5:15 p.m., and the Service will begin at 6 p.m.

Community Church of SunBird invites you every Sunday morning at 9 a.m. in the ballroom for a non-denominational, inspiring message from one of our gifted Pastors. We wish all of you a blessed and wonder-filled Christmas from our church family to yours. Merry Christmas!
