Love is in the air! Yes, Valentine’s Day and a Leap Year Day for old Irish traditions of love. Married or single, we all want to be loved.
The Good News: God is love. He knows everything about us. He knows our thoughts, our hopes, our dreams, and even the number of hairs on our head. He loves us as we are known—fully and completely. He loves us so much that He has made a way for us to know Him and love Him in return.
Adam’s original sin separated man from God for the first time ever. But God knew man well enough to know that he would need a plan to restore the original communication and closeness that He had created us to have with Him. God sent His very own Son to earth in human form to allow us to know what God himself is like. This God/man named Jesus shared His Father totally and completely with his disciples before giving up His life as a perfect human sacrifice for our sin.
His death, burial, and resurrection make our relationship with God a true possibility. It is our choice to restore that original relationship and communion with God. We just need to accept His invitation. Come and discover how to enjoy the original plan for God’s love in your life. We meet at 9 a.m. Sunday mornings in the ballroom.
Yes, love is in the air, and we invite you to bring your Valentine, friend, or guest to our Root Beer Float Social on Feb. 16 from 1 to 2:30 p.m. in the ballroom. Let’s join in fellowship, celebrating love and friendship.
