December’s Women’s Connection event will feature a very special Holiday Musicale. The Arizona Shalom Dancers will perform several numbers with vocalists Jan Libby and Lily Whitson providing the solos to “Yahweh, Hear Our Pleas,” “Star of the Morning,” and “Come Messiah King.” Nancy Moline of Gilbert, Ariz., is director of the dance group. The Sun Catchers, a ladies quartet for the Sun Lakes Chordaires Show Choir, will include several songs of the season in their presentation. Lovely holiday sounds will come from flautist Sue Norton-Scott of Chandler, Ariz. The Keyboard Connection, a group of nine gals and directed by Jeanette Cline, will provide the pre-brunch music. Christmas carols and other holiday songs will be part of their program.
Our speaker, Pam Hage, is a native of Arizona who now spends part of the year in Washington and part in Peoria, Ariz. Pam enjoys being a snowbird but thinks of Peoria as home. She was secretary to retired Senator Carl Hayden. Pam is a born shopper and gift-giver! This warm and engaging speaker will share her “Best Christmas Gift” with us.
