Al-Anon meeting notice

The new 12-step Al-Anon group meets Monday evenings at 5:30 p.m. in the Ceramics Room of the SunBird Clubhouse. If you are concerned about the drinking problems of someone you care about, come and join in on our discussions and receive some help for your peace of  mind.

Notes from the Board Meeting

The Board of Directors meetings are in recess for the summer. The next Board of Directors Agenda Planning meeting is scheduled for Monday, September 14 at 1:00 p.m. in the Ballroom. The Board of Directors Business meeting is scheduled Monday, September 28 at 6:00 p.m. in the Ballroom.

SunBird Horseshoes

2015 SunBird horseshoes will begin on October 7. A meeting will be held at the horseshoe pits at 8:00 a.m. followed by play. Members can sign up in the Clubhouse Puzzle Room, on the horseshoe bulletin board or contact Jim Jerome at 480-802-0282. Anyone can play. Please come join us.

Sunday Breakfast Buffet

Sunday breakfast buffet is now available each Sunday for $8.50. For lighter diners we will now be offering a small list for order off the menu. The Horizon Room is open for Sunday breakfast at 8:00 a.m.-noon. We look forward to seeing you!

Earlier this year with donations, about 600 bluegill fish were stocked in the lake at the Clubhouse. Fishing is welcome by SunBird residents and their guests.
